Release 0.0.3 is out now!

As I found and solved a critical bug in the backup-handling (issue 8) that caused a crash when removing old backups, I have made a new release 0.0.3.

It can be installed over the old release.

Please download and update, and report any problems found, especially crashes!

Some screen-captures from version 0.0.2 on KDE

Here are some screen-shots of Basqet on KDE

First we have the main window:

The main part of the window is the Note Pad Page. This page shows the content of a basket. So far we only have text notes but some day.... You can resize a note in the upper left or lower right corner, or move it on any other place on the frame.

To the left we have the basket outline, this is the basket folder structure. Klick on a basket to open. The outline can be moved to the left side (or any side).

The note is split into two part, the header and the body. By default, the header is hidden. To show the header part just grab the splitter mark close to the top frame and pull it down a bit. To close the header, drag the splitter up to top again.

Welcome to the Basqet blogg

This blogg is intended to be the main source of Basqet related information for those not participating in the development.

Basqet is a note taking application very much inspired by the Basket application (basket.kde.org) and Microsoft OneNote.

The main difference is that Basqet is build entirely on Qt from Nokia thus shall be avaliable on all Qt platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac OS-X, possibly Solaris etc). My personal need of basket on Windows was the main drive to wrote an own application.

So, welcome to Basqet.

Regards,
Erik
